They are designed and certified to meet ANSI/NSF-61 and ASSE 1061 product standards for use in potable water and hydronic heating water distribution systems. These fittings can work with either the Crimp Connection System (using a PEX Crimp tool and Copper Crimp Rings) or the Clamp Connection System (using a PEX Clamp tool and Stainless Steel PEX Clamps).
With a pressure rating of 400 PSI, these fittings are approved for underground and behind-the-wall installations without the need for access panels.
